How scoring works

Words must be at least 4 letters and contain the center letter.

  • 4-letter words = 1 point
  • Longer words = 1 point per letter
  • Pangrams (use all 7 letters) = +7 bonus points

How hint mode works

Toggle hint mode with the 🐝 switch (or press Tab).

  • Each letter shows a badge with the number of unfound words starting with that letter. A green ✓ means all words for that letter have been found.
  • Long-press (mobile) or long-click (desktop) a letter to see a popup with remaining word lengths for that letter.
  • A definition browser appears above the puzzle — scroll through definitions of unfound words with the ‹ › arrows or the ← → arrow keys.
  • Check 1st letter & count (or press 1) to reveal the first letter and length of the word being defined.
Keyboard shortcuts
  • A–Z — type a letter
  • Enter — submit word
  • Backspace — delete last letter
  • Space — shuffle letters
  • Tab — toggle hint mode
  • ← → — scroll definition browser (hint mode)
  • 1 — toggle 1st letter & count (hint mode)
